Eliminate Invitation Stress (before you get started)

Timing is everything, especially when planning a big event. There are so many details and deadlines to remember, I want to help take the stress of stationary and invitation off your back!  Please remember to reach out to your desired designer ASAP once you have a locked in date and venue. It is a necessity to make sure there is enough time to create your dream invitation suite!

 

I provided a timeline I personally think works best to help prioritize and eliminate wedding stationary stress. Make sure to always reach out in advance and provide your timeline and wedding date in your inquiry!

 

Save The Dates.  The typical custom design and printing process for save the dates is 6-8 weeks.  But, you will want begin coordinating dates and reach out to a designer about 10-11 months in advance.  

 

Save the Date deadlines Flan de Vida lives by:
(for in out of town weddings add 2 months)

Find a designer you want to work with: 10 months before wedding

Finalize Save the Date Design & Send to printer: 7 months before wedding

Send Save the Dates: 6 months before wedding

 

2 Piece Suite:  A custom main invitation design, reply card design, envelope design, information card design + printing takes about 8 weeks.  You want to give yourself, and your designer, enough time needed!  

2-3 Piece Suite deadlines Flan de Vida lives by:

All Info to designer: 5 months before wedding

Finalize Invitation & Send to printer: 3 months before wedding

Send Invites: 2 months before wedding

 

3-4 Piece Suite:  A custom main invitation design, reply card design, envelope design, map design, information card design + printing takes about 10 weeks.  You want to give yourself, and your designer, enough time needed!

All Info to designer: 6 months before wedding

Send Invites: 2 months before wedding

 

Additional Custom Designs:  Items such as Menu, an Itinerary or Program takes approximately 6 weeks to design and print.
